Ques. My friend has got 77K AIR in JEE Main. He wanted to know if he should go for GNDU Amritsar or GNE Ludhiana?
●Top Answer By Ambali Roy, on 10 Nov 21
Ans. Both GNDU Amritsar and GNE Ludhiana have equal status in Punjab in terms of technical education, exposure, and job opportunities. However, most of the students have preferred CSE at GNDU Amritsar and Mechanical or Electrical at GNE Ludhiana. GNDU has lesser branches to choose from unlike GNE. The faculty and placements for CSE and Electronics are really good in GNDU. Since your friend has a rank of 77,000 there is a small chance that he/she may get a seat in the mechanical branch in GNE. But if you get enrolled in another department, they offer a chance of changing the streams after one year if they have vacant seats.Read more

Ques. Which is better: JEE or BITSAT?
●Top Answer By Sarthak Jha on 20 Jan 21
Ans. There is no clear winner between JEE & BITSAT. But if you have to choose one examination, choose JEE. The reason is pretty simple. JEE Main is the basic examination fr engineering. It will give you more choices - NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, private colleges, state-level colleges, etc. While only three colleges, i.e. BITS Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad accept BITSAT scores. JEE has two sessions. If your first attempt doesn’t go well, you can prepare for the next accordingly. If you prepare diligently for JEE, you can take BITSAT as well. Since these examinations follow a similar syllabus.Read more

Ques. How can I score 250 in JEE Mains?
●Top Answer By Neha Vardhan on 08 Dec 21
Ans. To score 250 or more in JEE Main, you must prepare strategically and smartly. Manage your time accordingly and do proper revision for every section. You must solve 2 papers a day to understand the topic thoroughly. Chemistry is quite scoring for JEE Mains. You must aim to score 90-100 in it. For Physical Chemistry, NCERT is enough. To score well in Mathematics, you need practice. If you put in the extra effort, you can easily score well. The co-ordinate Geometry section is quite scoring for JEE Mains. Scoring around 70-90 in Physics can be difficult. Try to master the shortcuts and tricks to do the problem in less time. To clear concepts in Physics, you can study NCERT, and for problem solving, you can follow books like HCV. Go through previous yearquestion papers in last 2 months and see the weightage for different topics. Follow tricks and shortcuts to solve problems in less time.Read more

●Top Answer By Adrija Mukharjee on 18 Dec 21
Ans. NCERT books can help a lot to prepare for JEE Mains Chemistry. But it is not sufficient. Inorganic Chemistry is the most scoring part. And for this section, NCERT books are a must. In past years there were questions directly from NCERT. But read your class notes and textbooks as well. For Physical and Inorganic Chemistry, NCERT isn’t enough. You need to practice a lot, in order to have a good command of these sections. For these sections, go through the NCERT, make notes for important sections and solve practice series.Read more
